The SKC – D’Arcy McNickle Library’s CSKT Historical Photograph Collection includes 679 photographs of the Flathead Indian Reservation, and Salish, Kootenai, and Pend’Oreille tribal members. The photographs are provided by the Smithsonian Institute and University of Montana. The collection includes photographic works of Moorhouse, Rhinehart, and Curtis and include individual and family portraits, reservation landscapes, and Kerr Dam construction photographs. These photographs can be viewed in the Library archives. Please ask a library staff member for access.
